Are break-ups contagious?

“If a couple whom you know has recently split, watch out! You could be packing up next. Professor James Fowler, author of the report, explains You get a virus and you’re more likely to spread the symptoms to someone else. This isn’t just true for virus - it also applies to social behaviours. In the case of break-ups, marriage counsellor Chris Dawson from humaneed.com.au says, A friend’s split makes us look at our own relationship with a more critical eye. It can plant a seed of doubt about compatibility, which will grow if there are unaddressed issues.”
