Guys reveal what makes them desire you by Keith Blanchard

To help you figure out what really attracts guys or girls, some male friends and I are here to set the record straight :

Fact : If you’re not drop-dead beautiful, you may as well start faxing your resume in local events.
Explanation : Of course, good looks rarely damage your popularity with guys. But you don’t have to look like Miranda Kerr’s stunt double to get a date. In fact, most guys feel more comfortable asking out a normal, attractive girl than an intimidatingly gorgeous one.
The key is to have a complete, “together” look that says you know what you’re doing with yourself. Don’t worry so much about fashion - most guys are lost pups in that department anyway - and stick with clothes that enhance you. A little perfume and make-up is always nice, but don’t overdo it. When we see a girl with a pancake face, it makes us wonder what’s under there.

Fact : Guys only like bimbos. If you weren’t lucky enough to be born stupid, you should learn to fake it.
Explanation : There are two types of guys who are interested in dating stupid girls. First, stupid guys and second, guys who are trying to fool girls. Playing dumb tells guys that you only want to fool around with them. Act like a bimbo, and you’ll definitely be treated like one. Guys with nobler motives don’t want girlfriends who are just conversation pieces - they’d rather have conversations.
For all our ogling, when it comes to serious dating, we prefer girls who present a challenge. On the other hand, don’t make him feel like an idiot. Keep the fragile male ego in mind, and don’t be too quick to put him down. But if you really disagree with him, let him know. Sometimes, a heated debate can create heat!

Fact : To hold a guy’s attention, you have to have a sparkling personality and the ability to climb mountains, and perform neurosurgery.
Explanation : As far as dating goes, it’s much more important to approachable than to be entertaining. It isn’t easy for us to go up to you out of the blue and start talking, and a little encouragement can mean the difference between a smile from across the room and conversation.
Flirt a little, make some eye contact, give us something to shoot for. When a guys starts talking to you, don’t just give yes or no answers; try to find some common ground. This doesn’t mean pretending to share the same interests - he won’t believe you’re really a mud-wresting fanatic anyway. Instead, talk about your interests; tell him something about yourself. Your best bet is to keep it fun and friendly, even if a romantic relationship is your final objective. Too much lovey-dovey stuff too early is a major turn-off to guys. Just plant the seed of attraction and let the concept grow on him. Let him think it’s his idea.
